Hong Kong, 3 June 2020 – This year, celebrate Global Wellness Day on a truly global scale with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.  Long known for innovative spa and wellness programs, the Group is once again breaking barriers by offering ‘24 Hours of Wellness’ on 13 June 2020, with a 24-hour Instagram livestream highlighting myriad wellbeing experiences at its hotels around the world.

Experience yoga on the river in Bangkok, join a healthy cooking tutorial in sunny Miami, and wind-down with a sunset sound-healing meditation on the Turkish Riviera at Bodrum.  This virtual journey around the world invites participants to enjoy complimentary experiences live, with each hour hosted from individual Mandarin Oriental property Instagram accounts.

“During this time of unprecedented stress and anxiety, we all need calming and life-affirming experiences”, said Jeremy McCarthy, Group Director of Spa & Wellness.   “Now, more than ever, people are realizing the importance of physical health and mental wellbeing in our lives.  While many cannot physically visit one of our spas at this time, our goal with this initiative is to use technology to bring Mandarin Oriental’s wellness expertise into our guests’ homes, wherever they may be in the world.”

Activities begin at 7:00 AM HKT / 11:00 PM -1 UTC / 7:00 PM -1 EST on 14 June 2020. For the full calendar of complementary activities and further information on Wellness by Mandarin Oriental, please visit https://www.mandarinoriental.com/luxury-spas.
