Celebrate Mother's Day at Shilling Canning Company

Shilling Canning Company and Executive Chef Reid Shilling are preparing a multi-course large-format style Mother's Day dining experience that will include Spring Vegetable Salad, Catfish Toast, and Ham & Cheese Quiche to start; followed by Wood Roasted Chateaubriand and Maryland Crab Imperial accompanied by duchess potatoes, peas & carrots, and charred spring onions. For dessert, Shilling makes sure Mom doesn't have to share, offering individual strawberry shortcakes and an assortment of petits fours. Reservations for the family-style experience begin at 11:00am. (The restaurant will prepare the family-style courses based on guest count.)

The Wine Shop at Shilling Canning Company, curated by co-owner, head of business development and mother Sara Quinteros-Shilling, will offer gift packages including floral arrangements in partnership with local Virginia florist Farida Floral. The package will include an arrangement of flowers from Farida Floral & choice of wine from the wine shop including the newest and limited collection addition, Whispering Angel Rosé. All orders will be accompanied by shortbread cookies.

Pre-orders are required and open on April 15th on Tock; available to pick up during Mother's Day weekend or to add on to any reservation as a surprise gift (please note: the gifted wine is not for consumption during service but intended to take home as a gift).
